Vita

Dimitris Kousouris

Dr. Dimitris Kousouris has studied History and Archaeology at the University of Athens (2000) and pursued his graduate studies in the École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales (Paris, France), where he received a Master's degree (DEA, 2003), and a PhD in History and Civilizations.

He has conducted research as a doctoral Research Fellow in the  “European Legal Cultures” project (2004–2007) and as a Post-doctoral Fellow in Princeton University (2010–2011) and at The Franke Institute for Humanities, University of Chicago (2011–2012).

He taught Modern History at the University of Crete (2009–2010 and 2012–2013), and at the University of Chicago (2011–2012). Between 2012 and 2013 he was a visiting lecturer at the EHESS in Paris.
