Dr. Robert Kramm
Vita
From September 2015 to March 2016 Robert Kramm was a postdoctoral fellow at the Research Institute of Comparative History and Culture at Hanyang University.
In 2015, he earned his PhD in history at the Swiss Federal Institute for Technology (ETH) in Zurich, Switzerland, with a thesis titled Sanitized Sex: Regulating Prostitution, Venereal Disease and Intimacy in Occupied Japan, 1945-1952, where he was also a lecturer from 2012 to 2015.
From 2010 to 2012 he was a lecturer (wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter) at the Department for Chinese and Korean Studies at the Eberhard Karls University Tübingen.
2009 he received his M.A., also in history, at the University of Erfurt.
2008 he has conducted research at the Graduate Research Group „Media of History – History of Media“ (Mediale Historiographien), Bauhaus-University Weimar, and at various Japanese universities (Yokohama National University, Gifu University, and Waseda University).
