Michael Nau received a B.A. in the English literature from the City University of New York (CUNY) concentrating on postcolonial and postmodern literatures. In 2004-2005 he was in Indonesia on a Fulbright grant to study to the narrative strategies and cultural production of Jakarta "liberal epistemic circle." Nau is a Ph.D. candidate at the University of California and has worked 2007 until 2010 on its paper within the research group "Idioms of Social Analysis" at the University of Konstanz.
